Sure, it looks like fine art to you. But these are portraits. Not a portrait in the standard, stodgy, convensional sense of the word, but portraits they are. Celia embibes her subject; spends time, gets to know and learns her subject. She is sort of a method painter this way. Then she regurgitates the story in a multi-media technocolor whirlwind of dancing, music, food and... oh yes, paint. The end result isn't just a portrait of the way the person looks - it is a portrait of who the person is, everything they are and all the activity and emotion of a moment wraped up in a beautiful picture of being. <p> But enough of what I have to say!
